VOLUNTEERING

Who are we?

The Fleurieu Environment Centre is a community owned and operated group that engage with our community and responds to local needs and issues in a variety of ways.
Run by volunteers and a part time coordinator, the Resource Centre provides a range of community and environmental services including reference material and referrals, volunteer programs, workshops, training and field days, meeting space, loan library, recycling, resources and equipment.
Our aim is to encourage and support the community to achieve the conservation of the Fleurieu's biodiverse natural environment.

What will You Gain?

We will give you the opportunity to make a real difference in our local area. You will complete meaningful tasks, get your hands dirty, meet like-minded people, work on behalf of the community and learn new skills.
We will offer a welcoming environment and will pair you up with an experienced volunteer to make sure you feel comfortable and well prepared for your chosen activity. You will receive training to safely perform tasks and understand the purpose of the work we do. This will, of course, include necessary aspects of workplace health and safety.
